The Vierhavens area opposite Parkboulevard is being actively developed. The Municipality of Rotterdam aims to create one of the most outstanding urban areas in the city. An eight-hectare roof park is being laid out on the roof of the megastores on Parkboulevard and on the dyke, connecting housing, shopping, business activities, education and leisure functions: a green oasis between the old docks.
The water taxi provides a rapid, pleasant and striking connection with the rest of the city on both sides of the Maas.
